Career Profile: Beth McDougall, Families and Communities Officer

I began working at the Pitt Rivers Museum in 2016 as the Outreach and Activities Officer on the VERVE project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

I trained as a costume maker and completed an MA in Museum Studies before starting work in museums in 2009. I am now the Families and Communities Officer in the Public Engagement Team. I enjoy co-producing projects with people, and developing opportunities for creative ideas and personal stories to be shared in the Museum.
