Evie O’Brien is the Chief Executive of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, an indigenous higher education institution in New Zealand with more than 25,000 students and 80 sites. She is also a Trustee on Te Māori Manaaki Taonga Trust, established to encourage and provide education and training of Māori curators, conservators and other officers whose work involve the care and/or display of taonga Māori (treasures).
Previously she was the Executive Director of the Atlantic Institute based at Rhodes Trust, Oxford. She is passionate about higher education, leadership and transformation.
